Moses to begin pre-season with Chelsea July 17

Victor Moses will link up with Chelsea’s 2017/18 pre-season training camp on July 17, according to a source in the Nigerian Football Federation.

The 26-year-old missed out on the Super Eagles’ 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying loss to South Africa last month, with the NFF claiming that the player was set to undergo surgery in the current offseason.

Moses has not featured for his national team at any point in 2017.

“[Leon] Balogun himself is recovering well, while Victor Moses is on vacation and he will resume training with Chelsea on July 17 “.

Moses was a key figure in Chelsea’s march to Premier League glory last season, making 34 appearances and adapting superbly to the unfamiliar role of right wingback.
